about

LP [SR-058]

This is the debut album by Ketto DePryck, also known as Yung $pic€ (who is considered a seperate entity) and Spiceboi from WHITEBOIS.
This is a concept album about emigration from Ireland to the Netherlands, and life there. It is about different cuisines, culture shock, video games at 3 am, the boomers, gabber music, cannabis and of course, alcohol, for better or for worse.

The existential ennui present on this project makes this album the ultimate statement of scauldwave thus far.
We will never forget Superquinn. Those sausages are iconic. I hope SuperValu bought the rights to them to sell them in those fancier former Superquinn buildings. It's what the people of Ireland need.

This album contains three remastered tracks, which were originally on the Yung $pic€ EP "GAA Lads", and the Yung $pic€ album "Too Poor For Galahad", in much higher quality.

Track 8, the bonus track, is a remixed version of "Can't Stop The Fucking Scauld" by RA51LK and Yung $pic€, from the album "The New Ross Way".

All mentioned recordings are available here, on Scauldwave Records.
